Many of our staff came to Luxfords as school leavers or for their first full time job and it is to our credit that the majority of them have stayed. With so many year’s experience between them, our Foremen and crews know the meaning of customer service and it is not unusual for customers who have moved with us before to ask for our men by name.
Without exception all our staff have received industry specific training which includes furniture handling techniques and the principles of packing, loading and unloading vehicles.
They have also received specialised training in the art of moving such items as chandeliers, pianos, grandfather and long-case clocks, antiques and fine art so you can rest assured that your belongings will be safe in our hands.
Our office staff, too, have all received industry training. They are able to correctly assess the volume of each move, estimate packing and loading times and know which vehicles need to be used on which jobs. They are familiar with the various health and safety implications which can be associated with moving and are able to offer help and advice on all your moving queries and requirements. Together, our staff’s considerable knowledge and expertise will ensure that Luxfords will handle your removal in a manner which is synonymous with providing a quality service.
